About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Corporate team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality business analysis that drives performance and supports effective decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Group Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead and manage the group budgeting and forecasting processes, including review and interrogation of departmental/site budgets/forecasts.
  • Build Financial Models: Develop and maintain financial models to support our strategy, including for potential transactions, business integration, and growth.
  • Support Debt and Equity Processes: Assist with debt and equity processes in accordance with our capital management framework and funding requirements.
  • Conduct Market Research: Conduct market research and peer benchmarking to support delivery of our 2035 strategy.
  • Lead and Motivate Teams: Contribute to the leadership and culture of our Group Finance Team and broader IGO Business.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification: Hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance coupled with Professional Membership (ANZCA or CPA).
  • Leadership Experience: Bring significant leadership capabilities with the ability to lead and motivate teams and influence key stakeholders.
  • Financial Modeling Skills: Possess expert financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Systems Experience: Have deep systems experience, including application of planning and BI tools.
  • Previous Experience: Have previous experience implementing a new system and change management.
