Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting desktop operating systems and office suites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot Desktop Operating Systems: Identify and resolve technical issues with desktop operating systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver outstanding support to our clients, establishing a reputation of excellence throughout the organization.
  • Maintain Safe Work Practices: Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and organizational policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate a systematic approach to problem troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Technical Knowledge: Have comprehensive knowledge of ITIL processes, Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, and end-user hardware/software installation and configuration.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • ITIL Processes: Possess in-depth knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
  • Microsoft Server and Messaging Solutions: Have a good understanding of Microsoft Server and Messaging solutions, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and TCP/IP networking.
  • Desktop Operating Systems and Office Suites: Have experience in managing and troubleshooting desktop operating systems and office suites, providing level 1-2 support.
Qualifications and Certifications:
  • Tertiary Qualification: Hold a tertiary qualification in Information Technology or demonstrate capacity to progress towards achieving these qualifications.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification: Possess ITIL 4 Foundation certification, demonstrating expertise in IT service management.
