Job Title: Rehabilitation Liaison

Description

This role involves educating employers about the activities they can undertake to facilitate and support a worker's recovery while their claim is being assessed.

The rehabilitation liaison works with employers to understand their obligations and how to identify suitable duties for injured workers. This includes advising on return to work (RTW) plans, communicating with healthcare providers, and engaging other stakeholders as needed.

  • Advise employers on their obligations under workers' compensation legislation
  • Support employers in understanding RTW processes and strategies
  • Communicate with injured workers to understand their needs and provide guidance on RTW options
  • Identify barriers to RTW and develop strategies to overcome them

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of injured workers and their families.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Knowledge of workers' compensation legislation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to influence employers to engage with injured workers
  • A background in rehabilitation or case management (highly regarded)
  • Time management and organizational skills
