Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

In our quest to aid individuals in their recovery, we seek a dedicated professional to spearhead injury management and early intervention initiatives.

About the Role:

  1. Empower clients to take charge of their rehabilitation process by developing tailored plans that foster safe and sustainable outcomes.
  2. Prioritize the acquisition of relevant information from various stakeholders, including workers, employers, medical professionals, and other experts.
  3. Cultivate strong relationships with site supervisors, Employer Claims Teams, and injured workers to drive positive outcomes and capitalize on business opportunities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  1. Identify obstacles hindering employees' return to work after illness or injury.
  2. Proactively manage and optimize RTW and claims management results for workers' compensation, income protection, and non-work-related injuries/conditions.
  3. Maintain accurate electronic databases for case records.
  4. Facilitate medical consultations, case conferences, and teleconferences as required.
  5. Develop bespoke Return-to-Work (RTW) plans.
