Operations Supervisor Job Description

This role oversees daily operations and mortuary services, ensuring smooth coordination of funeral activities, high service standards, and effective team supervision.

  • Coordinate daily operational activities and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Support funeral teams and respond to client needs and service requests.
  • Oversee documentation, scheduling, and administrative processes.
  • Supervise cremation facilities and manage related financial transactions.
  • Maintain equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
  • Participate in funeral services, transfers, viewings, and cremations.
  • Liaise with mortuary staff to ensure timely and respectful handling of deceased.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Funeral Service Coordination: Ensure that all funeral services are coordinated efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of funeral professionals to ensure that they are providing high-quality service to clients.
  • Cremation Facility Management: Oversee the management of cremation facilities, including managing related financial transactions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
