Job Description:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations and mortuary services. This includes coordinating funeral activities, ensuring high service standards, and effective team supervision.

This role requires a hands-on and organized leader to ensure smooth coordination of operational activities, adequate staffing, and support to funeral teams.

  • Coordinating daily operational activities and ensuring adequate staffing
  • Supporting funeral teams and responding to client needs and service requests
  • Overseeing documentation, scheduling, and administrative processes
  • Supervising cremation facilities and managing related financial transactions
  • Maintaining equipment, vehicles, and supplies
  • Participating in funeral services, transfers, viewings, and cremations
  • Liaising with mortuary staff to ensure timely and respectful handling of deceased
  • Recruiting, training, and developing staff to deliver high-quality service
Key Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to respond to client needs and service requests in a timely and professional manner.

Additionally, you will need to have experience in supervising and leading teams, as well as a good understanding of funeral services and operations.
