Healthcare Educator Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned healthcare professional to join our team as a Field Nurse Educator.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge and expertise in chronic disease management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient-centered care and supporting the development of primary healthcare professionals.

In this role, you will play a key part in educating and empowering nurses, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to provide effective care and treatment to patients with chronic conditions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Education and Support: Deliver expert education on chronic disease management and therapeutic areas to primary care providers, including group presentations and one-on-one clinical education sessions.
  • Clinical Care: Provide high-quality patient-centered care across various healthcare settings, including pharmacies and clinics.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, practice nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and information sharing.
  • Professional Development: Support GP professional development through audits, monitoring clinical outcomes, and facilitating group presentations and one-on-one clinical education sessions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Comply with all relevant clinical standards, risk management procedures, and documentation practices.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Registration and Experience: Registered Nurse (AHPRA registered) with demonstrated clinical experience and strong knowledge of chronic disease management and therapeutic areas.
  • Skill Set: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously, and comfortable using digital booking platforms and telehealth technologies.
  • Physical Demands: Comfortable with travel and managing a varied schedule, including metro and regional areas.
