Summary

This Melbourne-based aged care provider, operating several residential homes, is committed to delivering exceptional, personalized care through strong relationships with residents, families, and staff. They are seeking a Nursing Educator to design, implement, and lead their clinical education program—a key role with the potential to shape learning and development across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and deliver clinical education programs for nursing and care staff.
  2. Mentor and provide hands-on training to support staff development.
  3. Oversee new staff orientation and induction, ensuring clinical competency.
  4. Manage the Online Learning Platform, including content review and administration.
  5. Ensure care delivery complies with Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements.
  6. Support quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical performance metrics.
  7. Collaborate with Home Managers, Clinical Coordinators, and the Leadership Team to refine education strategies.
  8. Participate in sub-committees such as the Clinical Governance Committee.

Requirements

  1. Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration.
  2. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable).
  3. 3-5 years of clinical experience in aged care or healthcare.
  4. Experience in delivering clinical education, training, or mentoring.
  5. Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory frameworks.
  6. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  7. Ability to design, implement, and evaluate training programs.
  8. A passion for aged care and continuous improvement.
  9. Current National Police Certificate and Driver's Licence (travel between sites required).
