About The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join theDivision of Paediatric Medicineteam asClinical Nurse – Educator,where you will be responsible for:
Delivering evidence-based, person-centred clinical nursing care while overseeing patient care plans and nursing teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Supporting Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Educators in clinical, educational, and management activities, promoting quality and consistency of care.
Leading and coordinating clinical education programs, staff orientation, and professional development to foster a strong learning culture.
Participating in clinical research, audits, and quality improvement initiatives to advance patient care and service excellence.
Providing leadership and act as a resource for nursing staff, supporting change management and resolving care delivery challenges.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Registered Nurse with current or eligible registration and practicing certificate from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Minimum 3 years post-graduation experience or classification as a Clinical Nurse/Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
Strong leadership skills with experience supervising nursing staff and facilitating clinical education.
Effective communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and relate to diverse cultural backgrounds.
Knowledge of relevant legislation, professional standards, quality improvement systems, and contemporary healthcare issues.
