Job Overview:

The Senior Financial Strategist Role

This senior leadership position will lead MFI's financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and forecasting. The role partners closely with production, operations, and senior leadership to align financial goals with business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, driving informed decision-making
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring seamless cash flow
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets in collaboration with department heads, fostering a culture of transparency
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Oversee costing activities and implement cost-control measures, maximizing efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain internal controls, upholding high standards
  • Monitor cash flow and manage working capital for operational needs, supporting business growth
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development and excellence
  • Support financial strategies to enhance company performance, driving success

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
  • 5–7 years in accounting/financial management, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel, driving efficiency
  • Experience in cost accounting and ERP systems is advantageous, enhancing technical skills
  • Business acumen; ability to influence senior decision-makers, driving strategic alignment
  • Proactive, creative problem-solver with a drive for continuous improvement, delivering results
  • Proven track record in achieving high performance and financial success, exceeding expectations
