Chief Financial Strategist

Talent Right is an expert recruitment agency working in partnership with MFI Automotive to find a seasoned Financial Controller who will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of this innovative company.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee MFI's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, budgeting, and forecasting that aligns with business strategies.

With over 35 years of expertise, MFI Automotive specialises in building durable, efficient, and safe service bodies for commercial, emergency, and recreational needs. The chosen candidate will work closely with production, operations, and senior leadership to drive financial success and support the growth of the organisation.

• Develop and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
• Create and monitor annual budgets in collaboration with department heads
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
• Oversee costing activities and implement cost-control measures
• Evaluate financial regulations and maintain internal controls
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital for operational needs
• Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• 5–7 years in accounting/financial management
• Strong proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel
• Experience in cost accounting and ERP systems is advantageous
• Business acumen; ability to influence senior decision-makers
• Proactive, creative problem-solver with a drive for continuous improvement
