Multidisciplinary Service Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering a transformative service within the criminal justice system.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to shape a new service, guiding a team of allied professionals in providing support and advocacy to clients on remand.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, excellent communication skills, and significant experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities include building, managing, and guiding a team of professionals, developing and delivering a new service model, and navigating organisational change.
Victoria Legal Aid provides legal representation to those who need it most, with over 1400 staff employed across Victoria. We foster a work culture that's inclusive and diverse, valuing unique ideas and perspectives.
As a leader in this role, you will be responsible for:
