About Our Senior Practitioner Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our multidisciplinary team as a Senior Practitioner. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering quality, safe, and effective responses to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence.

You will be responsible for managing an active caseload, providing guidance and support to newer team members, and being involved in audits, quality improvement activities, and other projects that enhance service delivery. Your expertise will help clients navigate the broader service system and provide them with valuable information and support.

About the Program

The Orange Door Program brings together community services, Aboriginal Services, Family Safety Victoria, and DFFH to deliver an integrated practice model and a consolidated intake point for:

  • Women, children, young people, and families experiencing or having experienced family violence
  • People who use violence
  • Families requiring support with the care, development, and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children, and young people
