Job Title: Senior Application Support Technical Specialist

The role of this position involves providing timely support to the daily operation of business-critical applications.


As a member of the application support team, you will work closely with IT leadership and service provider teams to ensure the continued operation of core banking and key IT applications.


You will employ appropriate maintenance, support, and incident management processes to investigate and resolve IT application-related incidents.


This includes monitoring, supporting, and triaging IT application-related incidents, as well as providing timely communication to users on the status of their service requests and incidents.


You will also liaise with IT suppliers to ensure that IT application-related incidents and problems are resolved in a timely and professional manner.


Affirming quality IT solutions requires attention to detail and dedication to ongoing training and education. This may involve undertaking problem diagnosis, implementing problem resolution or prevention measures as necessary.


Maintaining accurate technical documentation is crucial to effective knowledge sharing within the team.


In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience, familiarity with Windows 10 and 11, and experience in technical support of business systems.


Familiarity with industry standards for service management, including incident management and change management, is highly valued.


Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline are required, along with certification such as MCSE: Server Infrastructure or equivalent Windows Server 2008 or later certification.
