Job Title: Senior Virology Laboratory Manager

About the Role:

The Senior Virology Laboratory Manager will lead a team of experts in clinical virology pathology services for state health and justice systems.

We seek an experienced professional to manage scientific, technical, and support staff in the Virology Section at Westmead Hospital. This role requires oversight of all testing activities and logistics, quality, cost, and operational integrity of the Section.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Medical Laboratory Science with relevant subjects and experience in laboratory operations, administration, and budgeting. They must have advanced knowledge of Pathology Laboratory Information Systems and supervision of e-based Quality Management Systems.

This is a key position that demands effective leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services. Key Responsibilities:
