Job Opportunity: Asset and Facilities Support Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join the NSW SES Fleet Services Team as an Asset and Facilities Support Officer. In this full-time temporary position, you will deliver high-quality administrative services to support the fleet team and enable NSW SES to meet its operational and statutory requirements.

  • Provide excellent customer service for all fleet-related enquiries.
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the fleet team.
  • Manage and coordinate pool and Executive fleet asset replacement schedules.
  • Handle total loss insurance claims.
  • Organise and respond to internal and external correspondence, including managing the Fleet inbox and Service Desk, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process equipment orders and oversee communication and change management activities for the delivery of new assets and the collection of assets being retired from service.

  • You are a highly organized, proactive, and accountable individual who thrives in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide responsive customer service.
  • You are highly motivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • You understand program and project management methodologies and best practice.
  • You have knowledge of NSW Government Procurement, Supply and Fleet policy and practices.
  • You demonstrate your ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
