About the Role

Care Connect is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide in-home care to our clients in the community. As a leading provider of out-of-hospital care and aged care services, our purpose is to enable people to live independently and safely at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care and Hygiene Assistance
    • Assist clients with personal grooming and hygiene, including medication reminders
    • Support clients with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
  • Domestic Support
    • Assist with domestic duties, including cleaning and laundry
    • Help with food shopping, menu planning, and meal preparation
  • Mobility Assistance
    • Provide mobility assistance within the home and local community
    • Accompany clients on outings and activities
  • Client Well-being
    • Prioritize client well-being and provide emotional support
    • Monitor client health and report any concerns to management
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 months of paid experience working in aged care or community care
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing
  • Other Requirements
    • Right to work in Australia
    • Driver's license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
    • Police Check and Working with Children Check
    • First Aid and CPR certificate
    • Minimum 3 COVID-19 vaccinations
