Client
Our client is a prominent provider of irrigation and water management solutions, boasting over three decades of expertise in the agricultural, dairy, and commercial sectors. They offer a comprehensive range of irrigation services, from product selection and design to installation, maintenance, and repair. Their proficiency encompasses designing, supplying, and installing irrigation systems throughout Tasmania, catering to everyone from hobby farmers to expansive agricultural operations. They also provide mobile on-site servicing along with repairs and enhancements to existing irrigation systems.

Role
In light of ongoing business expansion, we are currently in search of an Irrigation Sales Representative to deliver exceptional customer service and stimulate sales growth. This position will advocate for the customer’s interests by ensuring that irrigation projects progress smoothly and that client satisfaction is achieved. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leading national irrigation service providers. The role is ideal for either a seasoned irrigation sales expert or an individual with strong interpersonal abilities eager to learn about irrigation design and establish a long-term career in this field. Candidates with a background in farming, agriculture, rural merchandise sales, or agronomy are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
Engage in proactive lead generation and maintain customer contact (including site visits as necessary) Address branch customer inquiries related to sales, service, and projects Collaborate with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other relevant parties Meet and exceed budgetary and KPI expectations Requirements
Proven success in irrigation sales, new business development, or a related agricultural field Project management skills and experience in irrigation sales and design within the Tasmanian region (preferred but not mandatory) A strong drive to achieve and surpass new business sales targets Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills A valid driver’s license and proficient computer skills A commitment to grow and develop a long-lasting career within the organization Remuneration and Location
Compensation will be aligned with experience, with a target salary range of $60k to $90k (some flexibility available), in addition to superannuation and a vehicle, along with an attractive bonus scheme.
