- Build Strong Relationships: Foster effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including the co-sourced internal audit partner and the Audit Office of South Australia.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Influence and build positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Strategic and Conceptual Thinking: Demonstrate sound decision-making abilities, with a focus on strategic and conceptual thinking.
- Experience in Complex Environments: Proven experience working in complex political and legislative environments, with the ability to manage changing priorities and workload pressures.
- Recent Experience in Assurance: Recent experience in an assurance role or related field, with a strong understanding of risk management and compliance principles.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in law, accounting, internal audit, public policy/administration, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Knowledge of Governance Disciplines: Knowledge of governance disciplines, particularly in large organizations (desirable).
- Experience with Public Organizations: Experience working with public organizations or government agencies (desirable).
