About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at SA Water. As a key player in our capital investment program, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating water and wastewater projects, contributing to the sustainable development of essential infrastructure in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams of internal and external subject matter experts and Delivery Partners to deliver projects within the specified budget and timeframe.
  • Understand and translate strategic objectives and customer levels of service throughout Capital Delivery teams, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
  • Pro-actively monitor progress of the project/program, managing quality and reporting accurately on cost, schedule and risk, leading project teams to success.
  • Review and monitor risk on an on-going basis to inform decisions and actively manage contingency for projects/programs.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in Project and Program Management (cost, schedule, risk and change management).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering/related degree or significant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects and/or programs of work.
  • Demonstrated experience to liaise and agree project outcomes with multiple stakeholders in often complex situations.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams with focus on organisational constructive culture development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
