About the Role

We are seeking skilled Rail Maintenance Specialists to join our team at the Mindyarra Maintenance Facility in Dubbo, NSW. The successful candidates will play a key role in the facility's mobilisation, train completion tasks, and ongoing fleet maintenance.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on rail assets;
  • Conducting fault-finding, diagnostics, rectifications, and post-work testing to ensure optimal performance;
  • Addressing damage and vandalism issues promptly;
  • Providing additional support as needed for facility and equipment maintenance;
  • Overtime may be required to ensure continuity of services and address unscheduled maintenance needs.

Key Requirements

  • Rail maintenance experience, including fault finding, component replacement, and remote diagnostics;
  • RIW Card and First Aid Training preferred;
  • Ability to work independently and remotely;
  • Willingness to assist in facility maintenance as needed;
  • Capacity to work over a rotating 24/7 roster.
