About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Track and Civil Maintenance Manager to join our team in Bathurst, NSW. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for effectively managing track maintenance activities to ensure the public safety, integrity, and operational safety of the rail corridor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of track maintenance works on schedule with all stakeholder expectations met.
  • Provide leadership responsibility in health, safety, and environment management, including safety checks, identifying and recording railway safety issues, reporting, investigating, and managing accidents, incidents, and injuries.
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships through positive, proactive, and professional communication.
  • Manage industrial relations issues and implications, develop appropriate resolutions, and conduct thorough performance management evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial and financial management, meeting budgets, identifying cost-saving measures, and reporting on expenditure.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of previous rail construction experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience in project management of rail works, demonstrated competency in track construction and maintenance practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of the track rail infrastructure discipline stream and associated systems.
  • Experience in administration and management of rail infrastructure maintenance or renewal teams.
Salary and Benefits
