IT Service Desk Operations Manager

Icon Group, Australia's largest dedicated provider of cancer care, is seeking an IT Service Desk Team Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our centralised IT Service Desk.
This permanent full-time role is critical to oversee and ensure the delivery of technology support services and operations so that end users can focus on what matters most – the provision of exceptional care to the community.
About the RoleA key responsibility is to ensure the team is efficiently and effectively executing its operational deliverables, activities and tasks. There is also a strong focus on identifying, leading and driving continual improvement of all facets of the IT Service Desk service and operations.
This is a leadership role in an organisation with more than 3500 employees and with numerous standard and bespoke software solutions, so we require an individual who can hit the ground running, provide effective team management, and rapidly build relationships across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in an IT Support environment, a proven ability to keep a team engaged and motivated, and relevant qualifications in IT or a related field.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT Service Desk
- Ensure the team is efficiently and effectively executing its operational deliverables, activities and tasks
- Identify, lead and drive continual improvement of all facets of the IT Service Desk service and operations
