Queensland Treasury is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICT Service Desk Lead to lead the ICT service delivery for one or more business units within the Queensland Revenue Office.

This permanent role will be based in our Brisbane CBD office and offers flexible working options. As the Team Lead, ICT Service Desk, you will provide leadership, coaching and support to the service desk team, manage day-to-day operations, and monitor queues and operations dashboards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT service management, with experience in leading teams and managing day-to-day operations. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and coaching to the service desk team
  • Managing day-to-day operations of the service desk
  • Monitoring queues and operations dashboards
  • General rostering, allocating resources and maintaining knowledge bases
