Job Description

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of effective injury prevention, claims management and injury management processes in support of business objectives. They will also be responsible for leading, coaching and developing the Wellbeing & Injury Management Team Advisors and Coordinator.

  • Develop and implement simple, relevant and effective injury and claims management policies, procedures and strategies that minimise operational impact, reduce costs and continually improve health and safety results.
  • Work collaboratively with the Injury Management & Wellbeing Manager to develop and contribute to the annual Safety Strategy with key health and wellbeing objectives, targets and timeframes for implementation.
  • Provide practical training and coaching to leaders in support of improved knowledge and awareness of health and wellbeing for their team and the greater business.

This role requires strong knowledge of Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation legislation nationally with demonstrated cost and claim reductions through implementation of injury prevention programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant Allied Health such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Psychology.
  • Relevant professional association membership and/or registration.
  • 3+ years rehabilitation experience (clinical and non-clinical) and 2 years in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry.
