Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional to drive business growth in the MICE sector. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proactive, and possess a strong track record in sales or business development within hospitality, tourism, or MICE.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy and Growth
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop targeted sales strategies, prepare customized proposals, lead negotiations, and close deals with corporate clients and agencies.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, DMCs, travel agents, and local partners, ensure exceptional service delivery, conduct post-event follow-ups, and foster repeat business opportunities.
  • Market Development & Strategy
    • Maintain industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions, maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, partner with marketing to design targeted campaigns, and contribute to annual sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
    • Work closely with operations, event planning, and catering teams, deliver accurate forecasts, pipeline updates, and sales reports, represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record in business development or sales within hospitality, tourism, or MICE, strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, high level of initiative, motivation, and resilience, strategic thinker with commercial awareness, ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in sales or business development within MICE, hospitality, or travel, proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, existing industry contacts across corporate, incentive, and conference markets desirable.
