The Opportunity

This newly created role involves developing and coordinating strategic asset management framework, analysing life cycle costs and providing recommendations for asset performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of Asset Management Plans.
  • Provide insights from Asset Lifecycle Plans to support strategic planning and decisions.
  • Manage, lead or support programs and projects driving harmonisation and best practice operations using learnings from Asset Lifecycle Plans.
  • Monitor and track the outcomes of Asset Lifecycle Plans, continuously seeking opportunities for improvements.
  • Collaborate across business units to develop artefacts and ensure acceptance by business owners.
  • Provide inputs to improvement programs including suitable projects, estimated value and schedule for delivery.
  • Ensure effective utilisation of business impact and change management processes.
  • Lead the implementation of the City FM Asset Management Framework, engaging stakeholders to ensure success.
  • Build strong relationships throughout the business, articulating ideas and processes clearly.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with proven results in specialist areas, translating to a continuous improvement environment.
  • Developed strategic asset management plans and knowledge of relevant industry standards such as ISO55001.
  • A strategic thinker who can articulate complex problems into simple concepts.
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal, enjoying collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Naturally organised, prioritising, delegating and remaining calm under pressure.
  • Commercial acumen to drive value through the business.
  • Proven experience writing reports and telling compelling stories using data.
