Maximise Workforce Potential

This is a 12-month maximum term contract role focused on implementing the recommendations of a recent workforce optimisation review.

As part of this role, you will lead a defined program of work to improve systems and strategies that support compliance, performance, and workforce planning across the organisation.

About the Role:
  • Lead the implementation of a defined program of work focused on workforce efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment.
  • Drive improvements in job design, rostering, recruitment, performance management, and compliance to support consistent and scalable people practices.
  • Inform improvements to our human resources information system (HRIS), ensuring functionality supports effective workforce planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Apply contemporary workforce planning methodologies and tools to enable accurate forecasting, modelling, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Ensure workforce data is accurate, reliable, and used effectively for planning, risk identification, and strategic reporting.
  • Advise on organisational change, support capability uplift across operational teams, and help embed new processes and systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience leading workforce strategy or optimisation projects, ideally in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, workforce data, and HR systems.
  • Solid working knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and the ability to balance strategic and hands-on work.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, workforce analytics, or a related field.
