About Our Client

Michael Page is a leading recruitment agency, and our client is a renowned organisation in the Public sector.

We are seeking an experienced Individual Giving Manager to join their team. As the successful candidate, you will play a critical role in expanding the organisation's individual donor base and developing long-term, sustainable relationships with supporters.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing strategies that encourage new donations, increase donor retention, and inspire greater commitment from existing supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to manage and grow the individual giving portfolio.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
  • Lead campaigns and initiatives aimed at acquiring new donors and increasing overall individual giving revenue.
  • Create personalised donor journeys, ensuring high levels of engagement and retention through regular communication, recognition, and stewardship.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising performance, using data to optimise campaigns and refine strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to develop compelling materials and messaging for individual giving appeals.
  • Manage individual giving budgets, forecasting income, and reporting on progress toward fundraising targets.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in individual giving or direct response fundraising, with a track record of successfully managing donor relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, including donor stewardship, gift solicitation, and retention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and compelling donor appeals.
  • Experience using donor management software and CRM systems to track and engage donors (e.g. Salesforce, Raiser's Edge).
  • Ability to analyse donor data and trends to develop targeted fundraising strategies.
  • Creative, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for the mission of supporting vulnerable populations and creating long-term impact.
