Job Title: Home Healthcare Professional

Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Healthcare Professional to provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other settings in communities across Nova Scotia. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to clients in their homes and other settings
  • Manage diabetes, administer dialysis, manage medications, provide palliative care, perform phlebotomy, and treat wounds
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet clients' unique needs
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the province of practice. You should have experience in community health and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are also required. Additionally, you must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and pass a background check.
