Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing services in community and residential aged care settings across South West Sydney.

You will work with clients to help them remain independent at home, including conducting home assessments, prescribing equipment, and modifying homes as needed.

You will also contribute to rehabilitation programs, focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery recovery and supporting clients after hospitalisation through the Hospital in the Home program.

Your role will involve working autonomously, with backing from a supportive clinical team, and providing support to individuals in various care environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Full registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in community and residential aged care settings and rehabilitation
  • Ability to work independently and provide support to individuals in a variety of care environments
