We are a team of community-based allied health organisation currently providing mobile services across Sydney and Melbourne to: clients on the home care package, participants under the NDIS as well as private clients. We are seeking a Healthcare Administrator/Invoicing Officer whom is adept at managing files and creating invoices with high levels of accuracy. We are offering a rare opportunity for the successful candidate to work exclusively from home.

Inspire Healthcareis offering an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate Healthcare Administrator/Invoicing Officer to join our team on a full-time basis (Minimum 8 months contract). This role is best suited for individuals who are quick learners and willing to assist in optimising business practices. You will be responsible for working alongside a multidisciplinary team and invoicing for all levels of stakeholders.

More specifically, some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Being the coordinator for invoicing, you will proactively manage billing records and collate invoices with high levels of accuracy.
  • Utilise excel coding to generate and troubleshoot invoices (preferable skill, but we will offer training).
  • Carry out checks and investigations on invoice payments and billing records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes and procedures relating to invoicing
  • Identify opportunities for additional scheme or scope extensions.
  • Managing all patient records recevied by our providers and healthcare staff
  • Filing away healthcare records using Microsoft Products.
  • Responsible for accurate data entry when creating invoices for our clients and business partners.
  • Utilizing Xero accounting software to make payments to staff
  • Employ Xero to assist with managing accurate billing records

About You

To be successful in this role you will be a self-driven, detail-orientated and a talented professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate your skills and experience as an Invoicing/Medical Administrator in a multidisciplinary team. You will be a motivated, passionate professional, who thrives on delivering high levels of administrative duties and able to work with high autonomy.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Computer literacy - Experience in using Excel
  • Experience in excel coding (preferred but not necessary)
  • Experience with using Xero (preferred but not necessary)
  • Experience working in the Healthcare Industry (preferred but not necessary)
  • High level of accurrancy and attention to detail
  • A friendly and approachable personality
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Punctuality and self motivation
  • Initiative, proactive and a hard-working attitude
  • Extraordinary forward planning and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
