Facilities Operations Manager

As a Facility Manager at ISS, you will be responsible for delivering facilities management services to a national telecommunications client with multisite operations across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a national telecommunications client with multisite operations across WA.
  • Deliver facilities management services to ensure reliable and consistent delivery to plans.
  • Manage risk identification/controls, incidents, and tenant/client/customer issues as per agreed processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client representatives.
  • Act as the building owner's representative for all facilities within the designated area.
  • Provide technical expertise, knowledge, and site information as required.
  • Attend meetings with clients to coordinate activities, strategies, and planning to meet business needs.
  • Conduct regular tenant meetings in occupied client facilities.
  • Coordinate and liaise with tenants regarding maintenance, capital works, and associated outages.
  • Review the application of service delivery methods and practices within the designated area on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage and coordinate all subcontractor activities.
  • Perform regular site inspections in accordance with agreed standards and document.
  • Manage incidents and restore sites to normal conditions.
  • Ensure allocated budgets are adhered to.
  • Ensure variation management processes are complied with.
  • Liaise with Asset Management regarding the development and application of the asset management plan for the designated area.
  • Ensure activities meet ISS's and clients' quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Preferably a tertiary education in facility management, business administration, or project management or similar operational qualifications.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Managed a multi-disciplinary workforce.
  • Sound understanding of operations and maintenance environment in telecommunications or a technical service industry.
  • Risk management approach to building management.
  • Ability to self-manage, work cooperatively and collaboratively with others, and have a flexible approach to function effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate with confidence and respect for others.
  • Proven ability to use own judgment to effectively manage workloads, take responsibility for, and prioritize tasks and clearly communicate when undertaking and delivering outcomes and services.
