
Humanitarian Aid Communications Specialist

We are seeking an experienced public relations specialist to lead our engagement with stakeholders and key sectors in Australia.
This role involves disseminating relevant content, liaising with the Board and National Director on thought leadership activities, and collaborating with UNHCR offices worldwide.
The ideal candidate has a degree in communications, PR, journalism or marketing, with over 10 years of experience in areas such as media relations, stakeholder development, interviewing and digital media.
A strong understanding of the humanitarian aid sector is beneficial. The selected candidate will have opportunities to work with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs and private organizations.
As a member of our team, you will contribute to creating and implementing effective communications strategies that enhance our reputation and support our mission.
You will also have the opportunity to develop and maintain relationships with key influencers, journalists and other stakeholders.
