Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders delivers emergency aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from healthcare.
The Philanthropy Specialist plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, identifying prospective donors, and managing associated research, reporting, and administration.
This collaborative role requires a donor-facing fundraiser who can engage effectively with donors, meet fundraising targets, and develop their career in a global humanitarian aid organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and identify prospective donors.
- Manage research, reporting, and administration associated with philanthropic activities.
- Deliver high-touch, creative, and bespoke relationship-focused fundraising activities.
- Contribute to transforming MSF Australia's systems and processes.
- Collaborate with the broader Engagement department to ensure effective delivery of fundraising targets and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in relationship or campaign fundraising.
- Knowledge of broad fundraising principles and industry practices.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication and social skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
