The role of Future Giving Coordinator is pivotal in the delivery of exceptional supporter care to donors engaged with Gifts in Wills and mid-value donor programs.
This position focuses on meaningful connections, listening deeply, communicating clearly, and guiding donors as they consider their philanthropic legacy.
The coordinator will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and outstanding donor experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level support to supporters via phone, email, and mail, ensuring every interaction fosters a positive relationship.
- Assist in managing the Partners for the Future bequest program by sending information packs, birthday cards, thank you notes, and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM, supporting efficient data entry, list preparation, and mail merges.
- Collaborate across departments to guarantee exceptional donor journeys.
- Support engagement activities like morning teas, personalized tours, and events for current and prospective bequest donors.
- Contribute to planning, reporting, and continuous improvement of donor stewardship initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Experience working in a fundraising or supporter care team.
- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence using CRMs (Raiser's Edge is an advantage) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone calls, emails, and handwritten notes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- A calm, can-do attitude and genuine empathy for others.
