Job Title: Fundraising Coordinator
About Djirra is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that accompanies Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and their children on their individual journeys. We find solutions through sharing stories, journeys, and experiences.
Our services include holistic, culturally safe support, legal services, case management, cultural and wellbeing workshops, and programs. We have a state-wide reach in Victoria to meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. Self-determination is the foundation of everything we do.
About the Role
The Fundraising Coordinator will support day-to-day operations and administrative tasks for key fundraising priorities, including community fundraising, regular giving, corporate partnerships, gifts in Wills, trusts and foundations, and donor stewardship.
You will work closely with the Engagement and Philanthropy Manager to ensure the future financial sustainability of our organisation and its programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations and administrative tasks of our key fundraising priorities
- Work alongside the communications and grant writing teams to ensure the future financial sustainability of our organisation and its programs
- Assist with community fundraising, regular giving, corporate partnerships, gifts in Wills, trusts and foundations, and donor stewardship
Requirements
- Extensive working experience with databases and/or CRM's
- A Victorian Employees Working With Children's Check card
- National Police Check
Desirable
- Experience in an Aboriginal Community Controlled, legal and/or community setting
- Experience working in a fundraising role at a Not For Profit organisation
- Advanced PC skills, including strong familiarity with MS suite of tools, especially Word and Excel
