Job Description

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to lead our philanthropy program and cultivate meaningful relationships with high-net-worth individuals and partners aligned with our mission and values.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive financial support for our programs and initiatives, innovate, collaborate, inspire and engage philanthropic partners in long-term, strategic relationships.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive our philanthropy program, cultivating relationships with donors, and providing stewardship to philanthropic partners.

  • Support our CEO to manage donor relationships with ongoing awareness of risk, opportunity and financial sustainability
  • Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals and partners aligned with our mission and values
  • Proactively secure new philanthropic partnerships
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage philanthropic partners in long-term, strategic relationships
  • Work closely with our Fundraising Manager to develop personalized reports, impact stories, and updates for philanthropic partners
  • Provide stewardship to philanthropic partners, ensuring regular communication, updates on program impact, and acknowledgment of contributions
  • Identify funding opportunities and build persuasive cases of support
  • Ensure accurate and transparent reporting
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong business acumen with strategic mindset
  • Similar experience in a fundraising role with proven demonstrated success in securing revenue
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a small, dynamic team environment
  • Strong presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solutions focused with adaptable and flexible approach to work
  • Approachable, engaging and down-to-earth with ability to inspire confidence and capable of stewarding change
