The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Retail Analytics Business Developer to lead and manage new business opportunities from initial research stage to qualification and finalization of the contract.
  • This individual will be responsible for pitching our analytics proposition within prospects and positioning a compelling solution that adds value to clients' businesses.
  • The ideal candidate will engage with sales support resources to identify and optimize solutions based on customer requirements, ensuring the sales cycle moves effectively to maximize business revenue.
  • Partnering with the marketing and inside sales team to generate business opportunities is also a key responsibility.
  • The successful candidate will have a hunter mindset, driving their territory growth for people counting and shopper movement analytics solutions within the retail sector in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Compliance to Johnson Controls' Safety Health & Environment Management System (SHEMS) is a must.

About You

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development/Sales/Pre-Sales in people counting and shopper movement analytics solutions within the Retail sector, including Apparel, DIY, and Consumer Electronics.
  • A proven track record of working with retail/shopping mall sectors, particularly with an understanding of procurement processes and networking background.
  • You should be self-motivated, determined, results-driven, with strong sales drive.
  • Excellent relationship builder and team player.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience in selling IT Solutions/Analytics Software/SAS background, API applications, and system integration.
  • A proven track record of seeking and submitting tender invitations.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce CRM.
