About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Professional to join our Corporate Practice as a Senior Broker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor, and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of mid-market accounts, ensuring high-quality customer service is provided at all times.
  • Lead, plan, and implement clear and effective renewal and broking strategies to meet client expectations.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the client's business, risk management, and insurance needs to ensure our services meet their expectations.
  • Meet and exceed service standards agreed upon in the client's service agreement.
  • Work with the Corporate Leader to prepare, manage, implement, and achieve state business plans, strategies, and goals.
  • Maximize account profitability through efficient work practices, client billing, and expense control.
  • Contribute to the company's profit objectives by effectively managing revenue and expense budgets.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in managing a portfolio of mid-large corporate clients, creating and converting new business and growth opportunities.
  • Extensive technical skills in key General Insurance classes, including Industrial Special Risks, General Liability, Motor Fleet, Marine, and Accident & Health lines.
  • Strong business acumen, including a well-rounded knowledge of general business functions such as finance, management, and risk.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of client organizations, including the C-suite, as well as internal stakeholders.
