Administrative Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will enable you to work with a supportive team to ensure our patients have a positive experience during their care.

This part-time administration role involves performing a broad range of administrative duties including:

  • Managing a busy reception desk and answering and redirecting calls
  • Supporting our doctors and patients across our consulting suites
  • Organising appointments and preparing admission paperwork
  • Daily and monthly reports
  • Patient billing and receipting/medicare rebate
  • Conducting follow-up requests and making reminder calls for visits
  • Maintaining accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
  • Coordinating with staff from other departments
  • Completing other clerical tasks such as data entry

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian authority to work
  • 1-year administration experience, medical reception/administration desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
