As an Enterprise Business Development Ambassador, you will identify prospective clients and promote the value of our integrated ecosystem of commerce solutions, business software, and banking services.

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our Australian Sales organization, reporting to the Sales Development Manager. You will work closely with our Account Executive team to find new large value merchants fitting our ecosystem and collaborate with global team-mates on wider projects.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to become an expert in our product ecosystem and use multi-channel outreach to qualify leads and schedule meetings between merchants and our Account Executive team.

You will:

  • Maintain current knowledge of our global product ecosystem and its potential to benefit small-to-medium Australian businesses
  • Create a positive first impression for prospective clients by using storytelling, case studies, and other materials to inspire them about our benefits
  • Research and prospect large value merchants across Australia who may be a good fit for our products, understanding how to handle objections
  • Use multi-channel outreach methods (social media, outreach emails, phone calls) to qualify leads and schedule meetings between merchants and our Account Executive team
  • Represent Square and our product ecosystem in the local Victorian and national Australian markets
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments
  • Partner with our Account Executive team to gain exposure to the sales cycle and further develop your sales experience

Requirements:

  • A desire to advance your career in sales
  • A passion for technology and the industry we operate in
  • Experience in a qualifying prospecting role with the ability to conduct outbound multi-channel outreach
  • Critical thinking and strong decision-making abilities
  • The ability to perform in a fast-changing environment

We offer a competitive salary: AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare coverage, retirement plans, employee stock purchase program, wellness perks, paid parental leave, paid time off, and learning and development resources.
