This role forms part of a Mental Health initiative aimed at enhancing prevention and promotion activities in educational settings.
Main responsibilities involve providing early intervention services, coordinating support for students with complex needs, and developing professional support programs within schools.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance and training to teachers and other wellbeing staff to improve student outcomes and overall school performance.
- Plan and implement targeted interventions for students requiring additional support, collaborating with families and professionals as necessary.
- Maintain liaison with departmental teams and external service providers to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and attend relevant workshops throughout the year.
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess qualifications as a psychologist, social worker, or counsellor, along with experience in assessing, conceptualising, and analysing wellbeing issues.
