**Youth Mental Health Advocate Role**
The role of Youth Mental Health Advocate involves working closely with young people aged 16-25 who are facing complex mental health issues. The advocate will provide comprehensive support, assessment, and treatment to these individuals, collaborating with their families, carers, significant others, and social support networks.
The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about youth mental health and recovery from mental health challenges. They should have a strong commitment to personal recovery and be willing to engage with consumers, using their lived experience to support others in building understanding, hope, and resilience in line with peer support principles.
