About the Role

Susquehanna Pacific is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-level support and customer service to our Sydney office, working closely with colleagues locally and internationally to deliver projects and solutions within the APAC region.

You will be exposed to a wide range of technologies, from desktops and networks, and will work with specialist engineers to assist in implementation, maintenance, and support of all aspects of our IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and assistance to users across the organization
  • Collaborate with teams to manage scalable and highly performant systems to support trading in the region and globally
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, working with specialist engineers as needed
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies, including Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, and MS Office Suites
  • Participate in the development and implementation of IT projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in supporting office technologies (e.g. Desktops, MS Windows, Phones etc)
  • Ability to self-motivate, identify issues, and drive resolutions involving multiple teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Great troubleshooting ability and logical thinking
  • Knowledge of the following technologies: Microsoft Windows (7 & 10), Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, MS Office Suites, and basic understanding of network concepts (routing/VLAN's/Firewalls/etc.)
  • Experience with Data Centre environments (racking and cabling) is an advantage
  • Some experience with networking, trading room environments, and trading applications (Bloomberg, etc) would be an advantage
