Role Overview

This role is responsible for the strategic management of Adelaide Airport's Landside transport infrastructure, with a focus on optimizing revenue and customer experience. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of commercial strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Commercial Lead for pricing, product, and service delivery for public, staff, and tenant parking services, as well as bus, taxi, chauffeur, and rideshare services.
  2. Develop and implement innovative strategies to maximize revenue opportunities, streamline business processes, and improve customer experience.
  3. Identify and develop new products and services to enhance return on assets, including new car parks, pricing models, and customer services.
  4. Negotiate, manage, and administer commercial agreements associated with Landside commercial activities.
  5. Monitor and analyze Landside commercial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive business growth.
Team Collaboration
  1. Collaborate with the Landside & Digital Business team to achieve business objectives and improve customer experience.
  2. Manage and mentor the Landside & Digital Commercial Analyst to ensure the ongoing advancement of individual and team skills and capabilities.
  3. Build partnerships and relationships across the business to drive business growth and improve customer experience.
General Expectations
  1. Embed customer service in attitudes and actions, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  2. Contribute to a safe, healthy, and discrimination-free workplace, adhering to WHS Responsibility Guidelines and Environmental Responsibility Procedure.
Qualifications

Essential: Educated to degree level, preferably in a business, marketing, or technology related discipline.

Desirable: Commercial, legal, or financial related qualifications would be beneficial.

Experience

Essential:

  1. Commercial business experience, particularly in areas such as ecommerce, retail, sales, and distribution, revenue/yield management, or parking.
  2. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing new products or services in a commercially competitive environment.
  3. Experience in the development of business cases.

Desirable:

  1. Demonstrated implementation of yield principles in a commercial business.
  2. Demonstrated ability to conduct capacity/inventory planning and long-term forecasting of operational requirements.
  3. Demonstrated ability to deliver professional presentations to key internal stakeholders and relevant external parties.
