Elective Surgery Access Manager Role

The Elective Surgery Access Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination and oversight of planned surgical admissions. This key position collaborates closely with Surgical Units, Operating Theatres, and other teams to guarantee efficient bookings and maximized theatre sessions.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the integrity of elective surgery waiting lists.
  • Ensure compliance with National Elective Surgery Targets and Pre Admission processes.
  • Lead teams through change management and project management initiatives.
  • Develop and implement data analysis skills to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with Current APHRA registration.
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.
  • Post-graduate or higher certification.
  • Knowledge of elective surgery access policy.
