Elective Surgery Access Manager Job Opportunity

This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing planned surgical admissions to Heidelberg Mercy Hospital. The successful candidate will be part of the Elective Surgery Access Team, managing and maintaining the integrity of elective surgery waiting lists.

The ideal candidate will have a registered nursing background, with a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, and a post-graduate or higher certification in their field. They will also possess strong project management and data analysis skills, as well as excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

About You:

  • Registered nurse with current APHRA registration
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience
  • Post-graduate or higher certification in nursing
  • Knowledge of elective surgery access policy and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change management
  • Strong project management and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
