About this Role

The Elective Surgery Access Manager plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficient coordination and oversight of planned surgical admissions to Heidelberg Mercy Hospital.

This position works closely with Surgical Units, Day of Surgery Admissions and Operating Theatres to guarantee that bookings are managed effectively and theatre sessions are utilised to their fullest potential.

  • Registered Nurse with Current APHRA registration
  • A minimum of 5 Years Post Registration experience
  • Post-Graduate or Higher certification
  • Knowledge of the Elective Surgery Access Policy
  • Ability to lead teams through change management
  • Project management and data analysis skills
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Advanced computer word/excel skills highly desirable
