About the Role

SA Health is seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our dynamic Recovery Unit team.

This pivotal role requires a strong clinical leader who can provide essential support to the Nurse Unit Manager in the day-to-day management of the unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating the unit's operations, working closely with staff to maintain clinical excellence, while supporting the NUM in the planning and evaluation of care provision.

In the absence of the NUM, you will step into a leadership role, ensuring the smooth and effective running of the unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff
  • Coordinate unit operations and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Support the NUM in planning and evaluating care provision
  • Act as a mentor and coach to nursing staff
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years' post-registration experience
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising nursing staff
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare standards and quality improvement systems
